ATK RS6 Ultra+ Keyboard
The ATK RS6 Ultra+ is my daily driver. This 65% keyboard supports a wired-only connection that delivers premium performance at a very reasonable cost.
The performance specifications speak for themselves, and I have yet to find another keyboard to rival them:
- 0.08ms Minimum Transmission Latency
- 0.28ms End-to-End Latency
- 8KHz Polling Rate
- 256KHz Extreme Scanning Rate
- 0.001mm RT Precision
Typing over 100 words per minute isn't breaking any world records, but I'm quite content when I do.
All RS6 series keyboards share the same underlying PCB and can be easily customized with ATK's configuration software, which rivals Wooting's Wootility.
I purchased the RS6+ and RS6 Ultra+ in their own variants: Spectral Ranger, White Shadow Warrior, and Leviatan.
The sound profiles are similar, and all are a little louder than I would've expected. I prefer keycaps with backlit legends, although the keyboard's theme would be lost. I have tried several different keycaps, and Womier's PBT Shine Through Keycaps worked best for me.
The differences between the RS6 keyboards pertain to the switches and case finish. The Snowblades are close rivals to my favourite Gateron Spark HE switches.
I highly recommend the ATK RS6 series keyboards, and as I mentioned at the start of the post, it is my daily driver.
