Keyboards - Buyer Beware

Buy Direct from the Manufacturer

I recently purchased a keyboard from a high-volume online website. When I registered my keyboard with the manufacturer, I discovered that my one-year warranty had expired even though I had just received it and taken it out of the sealed box!

I'm not sure how that happened, but I can only speculate that the manufacturer triggers the warranty when they ship the keyboard from their facility. This is noteworthy if you buy from Amazon, NewEgg, eBay, or other online distributors. This may be one of many reasons why these items go on sale at significantly reduced prices.

Although you may find a great deal on your next keyboard, I recommend buying directly from the manufacturer.
