# Mounting Pads for Your Key Switches

Dampening pads can help to eliminate or minimize unwanted noise due to loose key switches and stabilizers.

I have tried some products with great success, including:

Use a dampening pad if your key switches are loose. Specialized pads are also available for stabilizers. I strongly recommend screw-in stabilizers if your mounting plate supports them.
