Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition
The Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition quickly became my keyboard of choice, helping to shatter my previous personal-best typing speed at 137.40 WPM out of the box. Although it's not the quietest keyboard, it is among the fastest to grace my desktop.
What makes this keyboard special?
The Razer Linear Optical Switches and 1.0 mm optical actuation put this keyboard in a category with few competitors. I contend that the SteelSeries OmniPoint and OptiPoint switches have an edge with dual programmable actuation points but command a higher price point.
The keyboard has onboard memory and a compact TKL form factor.
The secondary function key group layout is both practical and intuitive. The Volume Control keys (F1-F3), Media keys (F5-F7), On-The-Fly Macro Record key (F9), Gaming Mode key (F10), and Backlight control keys (F11-F12) conveniently light up when the "fn" key is pressed while the lighting to all remaining keys is turned off.
The braided USB Type C to Type A cable has a uniquely moulded tongue and groove type C connector to reduce stress on the connection and ensure it stays plugged into the keyboard.
The key switch design is unlike any other I've seen. They are very fast and responsive. Doubleshot PBT keycaps offer a textured matte finish and are very durable.
Customization
Customizing the keyboard is easy using the Razer Synapse app. Thanks to the onboard memory, you can store up to five (5) different profiles on the keyboard.
A variety of lighting effects are available through the software as well. The documentation provides all the details you need to customize the keyboard to your liking.
Typing Experience
I'm not a gamer. However, nothing beats a gaming keyboard when it comes to high-speed typing. I achieved my highest typing speeds using this keyboard, and I highly recommend it to anyone with a bit of money to splurge and a desire to put a lot of power at their fingertips.

Overall
Overall, the Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition keyboard surprised me for all the right reasons. I consider this a real investment and value for the money.
